2-Line duplex breakout adapter

This adapter converts one two-line (RJ14) jack into two single-line (RJ11) jacks. It allows two phones to be used on two lines, or a phone on one line plus an accessory, such as a modem, to be used on the other line.

It is also useful as an interface between a line selector switch that requires independent access to two lines that are connected to one jack.

It is ideal for use in semi-private hospital rooms or college dorms, to provide individual phone service for two people from one phone jack.
