Textron is a huge conglomerate that has made everything from fabric to aircraft. Its Greenlee division makes a lot of tools. Pay attention because this is going to get complicated.

• In 1998, Greenlee acquired Datacom Technologies, a manufactur of cable testers.
• In 1999, Greenlee acquired Progressive Electronics, a manufacturer of tone generators and probes.
• In 2000, Greenlee acquired Chesilvale Electronics, a British manufacturer of buttsets, tone generators and probes.
• In 2001, Greenlee acquired Tempo Research, a manufacturer of telecom test equipment.
• At some point, the Tempo brand name was put on former Datacom products.  
• The buttset we are selling here has the Chesilvale name on it, but we think this model has also been sold with Tempo and Greenlee labels.
• It's extremely comfortable to use, and highly water resistant.
