Comparo:
Fluke 11294000 Need-L-Lock
vs.
Jonard JIC22148 Combo-Crimper
QUICK RESULTS: Both are very good tools. The Jonard is better in several ways, and costs a bit more.

• The Jonard is about 5/16 inch longer than the Fluke, but, more importantly, the distance from the pivot point to the end of the handles is about 7/16 inch longer than the Fluke, providing greater leverage for crimping, grabbing and cutting.
• The Jonard has serrated jaws below its pivot point, suitable for gripping and pulling, and it can crimp "B" wire connectors (NOT gel-filled).
• The Jonard nose is narrower, making it a bit easier to reach into tight spaces.
• The Fluke nose is longer, so it can reach into deeper spots.
• The Jonard jaws open about 3/8 inch farther than the Fluke jaws (unless you push the Fluke really hard).
• The Jonard has more space between the handles, and is more comfortable to use, and easier to flip open with your index finger.
• Both have similar crimping jaws for UR/UG/UY-type splice connectors.
• Both have similar stripping holes for 24-gage wire.
• Both have similar wire cutting blades.
• Both have similar cushioned handles. Fluke is orange, Jonard is yellow.
• Jonard has a lifetime warranty. Fluke has an 18-month warranty.
