Back in the day, the Bell System companies had Western Electric red phones, but only in blood-like dark red. ITT never made this model in any red. Stromberg-Carlson never made this model.

This fine phone would look great on the desk of a phone fan, a fire chief, a tomato farmer, a ketchup maker, an emergency medical technician, a vampire, or as a replacement for that dull beige 6-button phone that David Letterman uses.

This type of phone is not glamorous, not high-tech, but it's still used by Dave, as well as in government, business, law enforcement, education and the military.

The bright red color makes it extra-special, and it's made just for us.

The phone has five pop-up line buttons plus a Hold button, mechanical ringer with volume control and LED indicator lights. It's been carefully tested and refurbished, with 90-day warranty. It has a brand-new plug-in "modular" handset cord, and a 25-pair line cord with an "Amphenol" type connector.

It's designed for use with "1A2" phone systems, but if you don't have one, it can be easily modified to connect directly to a phone line, or an analog extension port on a modern phone system.
