Product Description

The Fluke TS®90 provides three important and easy-to-use functions in one tester:
a Fault Locatora Wire & Cable Inventory Managera Toner with SmartTone™ technology.
The unit works up to 2,500 feet and uses sophisticated Time Delay Reflectometry (TDR) technology; but you get a simple-to-understand "feet-to-trouble" digital readout (not a waveform), so it's perfect for people unfamiliar with TDR.
You can easily find the distance to opens or shorts on electrical wire, telephone wire, security wire and coax.
The tester helps you to find and fix cable problems without pulling new cable or blindly chopping holes in walls. Intermittent faults are easier to find because the unit constantly measures while turned on.
Fluke's SmartTone technology produces five distinct tones to locate and identify wire pairs, even if near AC-carrying conductors.
A safety alarm will alert you if you accidentally connect to onto an energized pair, up to 250VAC.
Works on any two or more conductors up to 2,500 feet long.Instantly measures distance to open or any fault from one end of any cable pair
Patented SmartTone™ tone generator positively identifies pairMeasures cable length on spool
Measures constantly while "On"
Displays distance reading rather than waveform
If the tester is exposed to water, some may get inside, but it will suffer NO DAMAGE.
Length Accuracy: ±2 feet for cables less than 10 feet, ±5 feet for cables longer than 10 feet and shorter than 200 feet, ±3% and ±5 feet for cables longer than 200 feet
AA alkaline batteries (included) provide 50 hours operation.
Low battery indicator flashes when voltage falls below 4.1 V Comes with test cord with alligator clips. Cord connects to BNC connector at top of tester.
