ITW Linx, an Illinois Tool Works division, has been manufacturing products for the communications market for over 20 years. ITW Linx was the first in the industry with a number of protection products, such as the 66 block protector, CAT5E/CAT6 protection and the SurgeGate™ power protection. They have an engineering team in the US, plus manufacturing facilities in the US and abroad.
In 2002, ITW Linx acquired the TowerMax, Max and RacMax surge protection product lines from Panamax Corporation.
