Paladin calls their SurePunch, "the punchdown tool for the next millennium," and while we're not quite sure which millennium they're talking about, we understand and share the enthusiasm.
The tool has a soft, rubber-embedded handle that provides a secure and comfortable grip for your fingers. Your palm is cushioned by soft rubber as you punch down wires. Lanyard holes in the end of the tool make the SurePunch easy to carry and hard to lose. (If you've ever dropped a tool from the top of a ladder, or into a puddle, you'll appreciate this.)
SurePunch cuts and terminates telephone and data wire and data cable into a variety of patch panels and jacks. We offer the tool with your choice of 66 or 110 blades, or a new combo blade that works with both types of connectors. (66 is usually used for voice and 110 is usually used for data, but either can be used for either.)
- NOTE: Blades that work with one type only, have one end that cuts and connects, and another that connects only, so you can loop wire to another connector. The combo blade cuts but can't loop, so choose your weapon carefully.
- FEATURES: Cushion grip, molded to the shape of your hand, for comfort and a sure, non-slip hold. Adjustable, spring-compression HI/LO impact impact force to meet demands of new
cable types and AWG sizes. Works with 28-22 AWG, solid or stranded wire. Blades twist and lock into place. Cushioned heel for comfort in the palm of your hand. New latch cover blade storage area in end of handle. One-year warranty on tool & blades
- BENEFITS: Less hand strain with soft comfort grip. Uses twist-and-lock-style blades from other manufacturers. You can keep working with the spare blade stored inside handle. No more dropped tools with your lanyard attached. New impact system reduces time & effort.
- When ordered alone, the shipping/handling charge is $9 to any destination in the United States. This item may qualify for FREE shipping when ordered with other items and the total price is $125 or more.
