4-Line quadruplex breakout adapters

Our new 4-way splitters provide access to each individual wire pair within a 4-pair modular jack.

They give you four separate connections to access the circuits within one jack, to serve multiple telephones and devices such as modem, fax and credit card terminal.

Four icons are included with the splitter for port identification: two red and two blue.

The splitter has a universal 8-position plug that is compatible with a wide variety of jacks.

We offer two different versions of the splitter because there are two common methods for wiring 4-pair data jacks.

The 568A pattern follows the same sequence for the first two lines as standard telephone jacks, and is also used for data networks.

The 568B pattern reverses the white/orange and white/green wire pairs, and is used in data networks and some ATT/Lucent/Avaya phone systems.

NOTE: Neither adapter will provide access to the third or fourth pairs in a 4-pair RJ61 phone jack.
