The PhoneGeeks 226 is a super-rugged telephone, housed in cast aluminum to resist vandalism, abuse and extreme environments. It's equipped with armored cords and a heavy duty door latch, it's ideally suited to transit stations, airports or any place with high public exposure.

Special design features include a sealed keypad to keep out dust, dirt and moisture, and a proximity detecting hookswitch   with no moving parts.

The telephone is completely line-powered. It does not require an internal battery or an electrical outlet, and can be used on a normal phone company line or as part of a PBX system. 

This phone is designed and built to provide total dependability for communications in extreme environments and is warranted for two years from the date of manufacture.

The 226 measures 9.7 inches wide by 13.5 inches high and 6.1 inches deep. It is equipped with a 6.5-ft modular line cord and a 15-inch armored handset cord.

Options include locking door, noise canceling microphone, spring door return, pole-mounting kit and tamper resistant hardware. Ask us for prices on the options.
